In the news this week Veset (1:31) has announced that its cloud playout platform, Nimbus, is now integrated with AWS Elemental MediaTailor. CJP Broadcast Service Solutions (2:15) has won a tender to build a high-performance virtual production environment for Solent University in Southampton. Pier59 Studios (3:01) has installed Planar LED solutions in its new virtual production studios in Chelsea Piers, New York City.
Witbe (3:33) has introduced Smart Navigate, the company’s latest AI-powered algorithm, enabling video service providers to dramatically reduce the time required to script automated tests for set-top boxes and mobile applications. Dalet (3:59) is enabling more efficient creative production workflows with major enhancements to its award-winning, cloud-native Dalet Flex platform.
CVP (5:48) has furthered its strategic expansion in Europe, setting a new benchmark for customer service and support in the creative industries. Vislink Technologies (6:33), Inc. has announced the availability of its LinkMatrix remote control management platform on Amazon Web Services. Nevion’s (6:56) flagship media orchestration platform, VideoIPath, was used successfully to demonstrate the dynamic prioritisation of live media signals over 5G connectivity in a proof-of-concept during the coronation of King Charles III earlier this year.
LiveU (7:24) IP-video EcoSystem solutions are enabling a full cloud production for European League of Football coverage, streaming up to six live games per game day to ELF's digital platform. Clear-Com (7:54) have supplied Virginia-based laser tag company Mission Laser a Clear-Com DX210 Digital Wireless System to communicate effectively with staff and customers. The BCM-300 Deluxe Broadcast Mic Stand has been released by Ultimate Support Systems (8:34).
Gravity Media (8:57) has detailed new camera technology designed and developed in Australia for the global coverage of this year’s ‘The Hundred’. Magewell (9:29) has announced the immediate availability of Control Hub, the company’s second-generation centralised device and stream management software. AIMS (10:11) API has launched Prompt Search - a new product that allows exploring music catalogues using natural language, phrases, and descriptions instead of traditional keywords and tags.
ZEISS (10:54) is now offering a new powerful and flexible camera tracking system as part of their CinCraft ecosystem. EditShare® (11:30) has recently provided a large-scale storage network for Directors Cut Films.
