MRMC Achieves its Second Kings Award for Enterprise

Mark Roberts Motion Control (MRMC), a Nikon company, is one of the 252 organisations recognised with a prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise. Announced today, MRMC has been awarded for its excellence in international trade. This is the second time the company has won this honourable award, with the last time back in 2017, while it was still under the Queen’s Award moniker.

Employing over 100 people, MRMC was founded in 1966 when it was known as Mark Roberts Film Services. From the first rostrum cameras for animation and TV, the company has gone on to produce countless industry-changing innovations that are used daily in film and TV studios to capture stunning footage on set. These include the Academy award-winning Milo, the revolutionary high-speed Bolt Cinebot range and their latest creations in the Cinebot Max and Studiobot XL. MRMC has become a leading manufacturer of cutting-edge solutions for motion control, broadcast robotics solutions, automation and volumetric capture across the globe.

Assaff Rawner, CEO at MRMC, says: “It is truly a privilege that His Majesty The King has approved the Prime Minister’s recommendation of MRMC receiving a King’s Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category. We are honoured to be a recipient for the second time and would like to extend a huge thanks to all of our international customers and partners, without whom this would not be possible.”

The King’s Awards for Enterprise, previously known as The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise, were renamed last year to reflect His Majesty The King’s desire to continue the legacy of HM Queen Elizabeth II by recognising outstanding UK businesses. The Award programme, now in its 58th year, is the most prestigious business award in the country, with successful businesses able to use the esteemed King’s Awards Emblem for the next five years.
