Custom Consoles announces its trade show lineup for 2024. The company will exhibit examples of its latest control room consoles on stand 5/L40 at The Security Event (NEC Birmingham, 30 April 30 - 2 May) and on stand J26 at The Media Production & Technology Show (Olympia London, 15-16 May).
“TSE 2022 and 2023 proved useful shows for us, attracting very positive visitor interest in our established and new-release product ranges,” comments Gary Fuller, Sales Manager at Custom Consoles. “TSE 2023 was the largest and best attended in the show’s four-year history, supported by over 275 exhibiting companies and attracting a record-breaking 11,231 visitors.
“A highlight of our 2024 TSE exhibit will be the latest version of our height-adjustable M-Desk Technical HA, including new features added in response to feedback from existing users. The health advantages of height-adjustable desks are well known, as recently summarised clearly by Fraser Turvey at Milford Haven Vessel Traffic Service: ‘Users of such equipment report increased energy levels, circulation and concentration among the myriad of benefits and it is an easy way for employers to help impede the onset of some common musculoskeletal and postural issues.’ M-Desk Technical HA is also ideal for control room or edit suite staff sharing working in a hot-desking environment.
“We will also be promoting the latest version of M-Desk Technical HA at MPTS. The height-adjustable version has long been popular for use in broadcast media edit suites. We will additionally exhibit a console from our very successful Module-R series which enables project-specific control desks to be created affordably and quickly from standard elements in practically any desired configuration.”
“Ahead of TSE and MPTS we will be at the April NAB Show in Las Vegas but networking rather than tied to a stand,” adds Neil Reed, Custom Consoles’ founder and Managing Director. “NAB along with IBC in September provide good opportunities for B2B discussions with some of the globally active broadcast system integrators at their exhibition stands or in prearranged meetings.”
MDesk-Technical HA is a heavy-duty workstation providing the features needed for the security and broadcast markets. A distinguishing feature is a motorised desktop which can be adjusted in height from 66 cm to 125 cm above floor level. This allows individual operators to choose between working while seated or standing and to set the desktop height at their exact preference. Total lifting capacity is 400 kg. Like standard versions of MDesk-Technical, the HA version is available with or without PC storage. Free-standing 19 inch desktop pods can be specified at the time of order or added later.
Module-R is mix-and-matchable control-room furniture system which allows aesthetically attractive and long-life broadcast control-room furniture to be created on a project-specific basis from a range of high-quality pods, base sections, 19 inch rack housings, worktops, end-panel modules and legs. Coordinated desktop-level pods are available as single-bay sections with up 13U chassis capacity. Custom Consoles also offers a Module-R Lite variant for use in latest-generation IT-based studios or where space is at a premium.
