Award-Winning VFX House Expands Leadership Team, Naming Industry Vet Patrick Davenport as Ghost VFX President

Ghost VFX, a leading visual effects house and part of the Streamland Media community of post production businesses, announced Patrick Davenport has been appointed Ghost VFX president. Tom Kendall, previously serving as Ghost VFX president, has taken on the new role of head of Business Development, Sales and Marketing for the company. Rounding out the team, Paul Richards has joined Ghost as EVP of Technology and Crys Forsyth-Smith has been named EVP of Global Production. All four will be based at the company’s Burbank, Calif., location.

Maxon announced today that Cinema 4D was used to support the creation of several fantasy user interfaces (FUI) on the hit Disney+ series, WandaVision, a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). 3D motion design artist Robyn Haddow was tasked with bringing the fantasy technology to life for viewers watching the series at home. A FUI expert with a superhero resume, Haddow’s portfolio includes television series such as The Flash, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow, as well as feature films including The Suicide Squad, Black Widow, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Spider-Man Homecoming and many more.
