UK Pavilion Takes Technology Excellence to BroadcastAsia

Bringing together the most influential regional broadcasters and media professionals, BroadcastAsia (1 – 3 June, Singapore Expo) is a specialist event within Asia Tech x Singapore, the region’s flagship technology festival. Its exhibition presents the opportunity to understand the latest trends in the business of broadcast and media, content and production, and esports and gaming.
With the Asia-Pacific region a hotbed of technological innovation and with the industry fast recovering from the pandemic, the return to a physical show looks set to see a bumper year for BroadcastAsia. That is why a group of eight leading British businesses have grouped together to attend, supported and managed by Tradefair.
The group covers a broad spectrum of technology offerings. Crystal Vision provides advanced signal processing built on its modern modular platform. Eddystone Broadcast is a world-leading designer and manufacturer of transmitter electronics built around a hot-swappable architecture.
GB Labs is a global leader in intelligent media storage for creatives working in video production and delivery. Glensound Electronics is recognised worldwide for its problem-solving audio products, now built on standards-based digital networks. MRMC Broadcast is a world leader in motion control camera rigs for precisely repeatable moves, an increasingly important requirement in volumetric production.
Pebble is a globally successful provider of automation, playout and management solutions for broadcast enterprises large and small. SpacePath Communications designs, manufactures and supports a broad range of uplink amplifiers and associated equipment for satellite operators. And TSL Products has a well-established reputation for innovative control and monitoring systems for IT-based workflows and audio.
“The response to the first in-person trade shows around the world has been remarkable,” said Mark Birchall, managing director of Tradefair and managing the pavilion. “BroadcastAsia was always one of the liveliest and most commercially successful events, and we are delighted to be able to lead a group to Singapore once again.”
All eight exhibitors will present their technology and services on the UK Pavilion at BroadcastAsia that is located in hall 5 of the Singapore Expo.
“Our role is to take the administrative burden from the exhibitors, we arrange the space, stand build and an extensive group PR and social media campaign to raise awareness of the pavilion and the companies pre-show and during the event,” Birchall explained. “This allows each company to focus on what is really important: presenting their products and solutions in the best possible light, building contacts and advancing export sales.”
