Triveni Digital today announced that the company will highlight its end-to-end, fully redundant ATSC 3.0 offering for broadcasters at the 2024 NAB Show New York. By streamlining operations, harnessing the potential of datacasting, and creating diversified revenue streams, Triveni Digital’s NEXTGEN TV solutions enable broadcasters to deliver enhanced, interactive television experiences that boost viewer engagement while driving profitability.
“This year at NAB Show New York, we’re presenting a suite of NEXTGEN TV solutions that make it easier for broadcasters to use datacasting technology and unlock new revenue opportunities,” said Mark Simpson, president and CEO at Triveni Digital. “With our U.S.-based support and extensive ATSC 3.0 expertise, Triveni Digital is well positioned to partner with broadcasters to ensure seamless, scalable NEXTGEN TV deployments.”
Triveni Digital will kick off NAB Show New York by showcasing exciting new features for its GuideBuilder® XM signaling and announcements generator that enhance both functionality and user experience. A new web application — compatible with both ATSC 1.0 and ATSC 3.0 versions — eliminates dependency on Java technology, simplifying the overall system. Additionally, the inclusion of DSTP over SRT output ensures more efficient streaming and data transmission. The platform also benefits from improvements in statistical multiplexing and enhancements to the email notification and alarming system, which streamline monitoring and managing broadcasts.
In addition, Triveni Digital will showcase its GuideBuilder XM Guest Station Edition, an innovative management solution for broadcasters in an ATSC 3.0 channel sharing environment. The solution empowers ATSC 3.0 guest stations to have full control over their allotted ATSC 3.0 bandwidth — independent from the host station — to optimize video quality, digital rights management, and the delivery of revenue-generating services such as datacasting.
Another key highlight will be Triveni Digital’s state-of-the-art Station Manager, which simplifies the operation and delivery of NEXTGEN TV and ATSC 1.0 services. The management system provides broadcasters with a single interface for configuration, control, and monitoring of ATSC 3.0, ATSC 1.0, and virtual channel broadcast chains.
Triveni Digital’s ATSC 3.0 Translator — fueled by patented technology — will also be on display at NAB Show New York. The company will show how broadcasters can use the ATSC 3.0 Translator to efficiently repeat or translate their existing ATSC 3.0 signal without the need for an entire broadcast chain, minimizing costs, equipment, and power usage.
Triveni Digital will demonstrate its end-to-end ATSC 3.0 offering at the 2024 NAB Show New York, Oct. 9-10 in booth 1219. More information about Triveni Digital products is available at www.TriveniDigital.com.
