We know that the support and significant investment provided through the programme is needed to encourage and enable women to thrive and reach their potential and succeed in our industry.”

Wootten added: “I would like to thank the incredible generosity of all of our sponsors, which enable us to bring our programmes of work to women in the industry across six regions and for us also to develop our education arm, the ‘Rise Up Academy’, which is critical in inspiring, educating and informing the next generation of talent about pathways and opportunities across the media technology sector. Our aim is to reach 2,000 young people by the end of the year through face-to-face practical workshops. I am looking forward to working with all of the sponsors to collectively reach our ambition of a gender balanced and diverse workforce.”
