To celebrate the opening of its new showroom and office, Lightware UK hosted a dedicated launch event at the new London location. The event welcomed partners, customers and industry professionals to meet the regional team and explore the company’s latest AV innovations firsthand.
“The new showroom gives us the perfect platform to demonstrate our industry-leading signal management solutions,” says Craig Storey, CEO of Lightware UK. “This real-world environment allows us to showcase how our technologies can support a wide range of applications, from meeting rooms and control rooms to universities and live productions.”
The showroom is designed as an accessible, hands-on space to demonstrate Lightware’s technology, support integrator training, and allow end users to experience how its solutions can transform signal management workflows. “The new location provides greater space and flexibility than our previous office,” explains Siegfried Hermann, President of Lightware EMEA. “Its open-plan design allows us to host groups of all sizes and quickly adapt for different uses, making it a highly versatile and easy-to-use environment.”
Many of Lightware’s premier innovations are on display, including the Taurus UCX, a universal matrix switcher allowing users to share content, switch hosts and control meeting rooms with easy HDMI and USB-C connectivity, eliminating technical frustrations and delivering meetings that start without delays.
Also featured is the Taurus TPN, an SDVoE-based AV-over-IP platform built for larger environments, enabling uncompressed video transmission over 10G networks with near-zero latency and routing across multiple endpoints. Visitors can also experience the Gemini GVN AV-over-IP product family in action, designed for 1G network infrastructures with centralized system management and built-in Dante audio support. The latest models now enable media, data and up to 100W charging over a single USB-C connection, simplifying device integration and connectivity.
A variety of Lightware’s integrations with leading video conferencing solutions were also showcased, highlighting how its technology can be applied to a range of meeting room scenarios, helping systems integrators deliver solutions that perform reliably every time. Integrations with CIsco enable enhanced connectivity and control for smarter hybrid collaboration, while Google Meet integration with the Taurus UCX ensures uninterrupted meeting experiences for those that work within the Google ecosystem.
In addition to product demonstrations, guests were invited to test their skills on an exhilarating racing simulator, battling for the fastest lap time on the leaderboard. The top performer won two tickets to the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
“The UK team has done an outstanding job, and we’re proud to showcase our latest innovations here in London,” says Gergely Vida, CEO of Lightware. “This space reflects the work of our engineers in Budapest and allows us to better support our partners, grow our presence in the UK, and continue developing solutions that meet customer needs.”
With its new showroom now open, Lightware UK looks forward to welcoming more partners and customers to explore its solutions in action.
