Libec introduces new multi-axis slider Posted: 23/05/2014
Libec introduces new multi-axis slider

ALLEX is a new modular, active support system from Libec, comprising an all-new tripod, head and slider. The combination offers camera operators extremely accurate and smooth pan, tilt and slide movements.

The ALLEX gives users the freedom to create, says Nick Allen-Miles of European distributor Ianiro International. The slider can be used on any surface, or fixed between two tripods for maximum stability. By mounting the slider to a single tripod and using a second head under the camera, the operator can capture fluid images at any angle for truly cinematic results.

Libec adds new professional tripod for the camera-plus generation Posted: 25/01/2013
Libec adds new professional tripod for the camera-plus generation
Making its first appearance at Londons BVE 2013 is Libecs new LX10, which redefines the concept of affordable, professional tripods.

At NAB 2012, Libec launch its new LX series to replace its popular LS range. With improved counter-balance, smoother action and an appealing new look, the LX5 and LX7 won plaudits for offering quality, stability and refinement at such an attractive price point. Now with the LX10, Libec has achieved another breakthrough: a very cost-effective 100mm ball tripod with an impressive maximum payload of 16kg. This specification is available from a tripod which is also 13cm (5) taller than its predecessor and yet loses nothing in terms of all-important rigidity.

B V E: Bags, Video grip and amp; lighting Equipment on the Ianiro UK stand Posted: 02/02/2011
B V E: Bags, Video grip and amp; lighting Equipment on the Ianiro UK stand The range of equipment distributed by Ianiro UK keeps growing. Its stand in the heart of BVE 2011 will be packed with new innovative technology and proven cost-saving equipment.

Ianiro is highly selective in the equipment it represents, only marketing products that match cost-effectiveness with true professional performance. A case in point is a new light making its UK debut at this year's show. Although diminutive at 190 grammes and extremely cost-effective, the new Minima LED on-camera light will take centre stage on Ianiro's stand. It delivers a very bright, controllable light source while running on standard rechargeable batteries. Its stand-out feature, however, is the light's switchable colour control. Video producers can now shoot accurately without the need for time consuming colour correction or costly relighting in post.
