Deity Microphones are excited to add the Deity THEOS DXTX Plug-On Transmitter to the THEOS family. The DXTX is packed full of advanced features designed to enhance the THEOS ecosystem, including the ability to transmit and record simultaneously thanks to the onboard microSD recorder.
The DXTX operates on the same broad UHF Spectrum as the existing THEOS products, ranging from 550MHz to 960MHz. The DXTX is capable of maintaining strong and stable transmission, even in the most congested RF environments, whilst giving THEOS users an exciting addition to their soundkit.
A dynamic feature of the DXTX is the swappable Neutrik XLR input connector. As standard, the DXTX comes with a 3-pin Neutrik XLR input, but this can be easily swapped with a 5-pin Neutrik connector, supplied separately by Deity. Swapping the XLR input allows the DXTX to record from a stereo microphone source, offering flexibility to the user.
Providing 48V phantom power for condenser microphones and 5V bias for low voltage microphones, the Deity DXTX offers up to 14 hours of battery life with the Deity AA battery configuration. Designed for versatility, the DXTX also includes an USB-C port, allowing for external power options and catering for various production needs.
The DXTX ensures pristine audio capture without the need for meticulous gain staging, thanks to its simultaneous 32-bit float recording and wireless transmission. Additionally, the built-in analog limiter of the DXTX safeguards against audio clipping during transmission, preserving the integrity of your recordings.
Deity’s BitConnectify 2.0 enables you to control the DXTX via Bluetooth up to 75 metres away from the unit. This feature allows users to adjust settings, monitor battery status, and control recording functions without physically accessing the device.
The DXTX has an advised retail price of €469, and is supplied with two AA Deity batteries, a whip antenna and an antenna cutting guide.
