Blackmagic Design Announces Price Reductions on DaVinci Resolve Keyboards and Panels

Blackmagic Design announced new lower prices for color correction panels and editor keyboards used with DaVinci Resolve.

In addition, we are now ending our DaVinci Resolve Speed Editor bundle. This model will become $395 from today, as a separate product to the DaVinci Resolve Studio software. Plus on top of these savings, the DaVinci Resolve Speed Editor, DaVinci Resolve Editor Keyboard, DaVinci Resolve Micro Panel and DaVinci Resolve Mini Panel will now all include DaVinci Resolve Studio.

Blackmagic Design announced DaVinci Resolve 17.4 which transforms the speed of DaVinci Resolve to work up to 5 times faster on the new Apple Mac models with the M1 Pro and M1 Max chips. With this massive speed increase, customers can now play back, edit and grade 8K projects even faster, and can work with up to 12 streams of 8K footage.

A24 and rsquo;s The Green Knight Graded in DaVinci Resolve Studio

Blackmagic Design announced that A24’s “The Green Knight” was graded with DaVinci Resolve Studio at FotoKem by colorist Alastor Arnold. The film was lensed by cinematographer Andrew Droz Palermo.

An epic fantasy adventure based on the timeless Arthurian legend, “The Green Knight” tells the story of Sir Gawain (Dev Patel), King Arthur's reckless and headstrong nephew.

FX Shots for Episodic Drama Germinal Captured on the URSA Mini Pro 12K

Blackmagic Design announced that DaVinci Resolve was used through the digital intermediate (DI) pipeline on French period drama Germinal, with key VFX shots produced using the Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro 12K.

An adaptation of the acclaimed novel by French writer Émile Zola, Germinal tells the story of a coalminers' strike in Northern France in the 1860s.

Sky Original Comedy Brassic Returns to Screens with the help of DaVinci Resolve

Blackmagic Design announced that Sky Original, Brassic Series 3, was graded in DaVinci Resolve Studio while VFX compositing was completed using DaVinci Resolve’s Fusion.

Going into the third season, consistency in the grade was vital, according to Core Post’s Matt Brown. Produced by Calamity Films, Brassic Series 3 is the boldest series yet and features more than 400 visual effects across eight episodes.
