Codemill (Nasdaq: CDMIL) has announced a new Accurate.Video integration with Backlight’s iconik media asset management (MAM) solution, combining cloud-native content processing with media asset management. Accurate.Video enables highly efficient media processing, with frame accurate playback and time-based metadata workflows. The Accurate.Video integration means iconik users can now access advanced content processing functionality, such as logging, curation, validation, QC, and media segmentation, with just one click.
Both Accurate.Video and iconik are cloud-native, supporting browser-based content workflows. Iconik allows users to gather and organise media assets securely from any storage, for frictionless media management. The platform uses metadata for enhanced search accuracy, across a wide range of filters. Accurate.Video is built for collaborative, professional media workflows, with time-based metadata in mind, and is designed to optimise labour-intensive asset processing.
Both platforms enhance content with metadata visualisation. Iconik enriches assets with AI for improved searchability. Users can generate transcriptions using speech-to-text services and extract extremely detailed visual metadata, frame by frame, automatically. With Accurate.Video, users can import and create time-based metadata, verify and edit technical metadata, and work with advanced video, audio and subtitle functionality. Accurate.Video also utilises time-based metadata for essential edits and media segmentation, such as sub-clipping, rough-cut editing, and highlight creation.
The integration seamlessly connects the data in iconik with the Accurate.Video workspace. This allows iconik users to reference all associated metadata, comments, markers, and annotations in Accurate.Video. Any changes or renders that media operators work on in Accurate.Video, are automatically updated and stored in iconik.
