Amino is Honored with the Sustainability Leadership Award  at the Premiere NAB Sustainability Awards Program

Company Recognized for Holistic Sustainability Approach that Extends beyond Environmental Impact

Amino, the global media and entertainment technology solutions provider, is proud to be the recipient of the Sustainability Leadership Award as a medium-sized company. This is in recognition of the company’s outstanding innovations in media technology that promote conservation and reusability of natural resources and foster economic and social development during the NAB Show 2023. This award recognizes Amino for taking critical steps to transform its business in line with a sustainable future and aligned with the UN’s Sustainability Development Goals (SDG).

Amino CEO Donald McGarva accepted the award on behalf of the company. “We are truly grateful for the recognition of our sincere commitment to reducing our impact on the environment in a number of different ways. In fact, we commit a percentage of our key resources – people, product and profit – to meet specific sustainable development goals. This is really just the beginning.”

Amino’s product development sustainability goals include every aspect of the set-top box lifecycle: supply chain, product packaging, energy efficiency, device management and support, and waste reduction. The ground-breaking combination of AminoOS and the Amino Engage SaaS platform can also be used to upcycle legacy devices, further reducing the cost and environmental impact of rolling-out attractive new features to consumers.

Additional sustainability initiatives include Amino’s global #FutureIsBright graduate program champions ambitious students and drive industry innovation. 

Proceeds from the inaugural Excellence in Sustainability awards program will be donated to Creative Visions, a nonprofit organization and United Nations NGO that creates impact media, supports storytellers and empowers education and youth around human rights issues.
