Atos Chooses NOA for ORFs 600,000-tape Archive Project

Pan-European digital services leader Atos has chosen NOA technology for a 10-year archiving project for Austrian national broadcaster ORF (sterreichischer Rundfunk). ORFs archiving program is the third large-scale European archiving project in recent months to be powered by NOA solutions, following the choice of Slovenia and Slovakias national broadcasters.

NOA Introduces FrameLector Pico for Entry-Level Video Archiving Ingest

NOA has scheduled an IBC launch (booth 8.D91) for FrameLector Pico, an entry-level ingest system for high quality video archiving.

Packaging the features and quality of NOAs high-end FrameLector software with VTRi hardware for the connection and control of video replayers, and PicoService, a lightweight administration engine handling local tasks and workflows, FrameLector Pico is supplied on a suitably-configured PC for out-of-the-box operational readiness.
