Director Alfonso Cuarn's Gravity is a stunning visual achievement, with universal raves for the films cinematography - created by director of photography, Emmanuel Chivo Lubezki, ASC.  Cuarn and his team, fashioned a production pipeline perfectly suited to capture stars Sandra Bullock and George Clooneys intimate performances set against a narrative of survival in space.  That pipeline began during the films principal photography and the development of special effects and lighting rigs which facilitated the films incredible simulation of zero-gravity then photographed against a more traditional green-screen approach.
