Scrub supplies ITV Studios first ICON console Posted: 27/05/2011
Scrub supplies ITV Studios first ICON console HHB’s post-focused Soho outpost Scrub has supplied ITV Studios with its first Avid ICON console – a 16-fader D-Control – along with a Pro Tools HD system and Media Composer Video Satellite.

The new equipment forms the centerpiece of the upgraded ‘Sound Dubbing 4’ at The London Studios, part of the ITV Studios complex on London’s Southbank, the largest and most successful commercial production company in the UK.

“After a thorough review of TLS post sound requirements in 2009, we chose
Pro Tools as our preferred system for future upgrades such as that recently undertaken at Sound Dubbing 4,” comments Phil Graham, Project Manager at The London Studios. “Having worked with Scrub in the past, it was an easy decision to choose them to supply and commission the new ICON console. Working with Scrub is always a pleasant and smooth experience.”

Building on a heritage of over 50 years of quality programme-making, ITV Studios produces across a wide range of genres – from drama and entertainment, to factual and lifestyle – encompassing many of the award-winning and most talked-about shows in the UK and beyond.

Speaking on behalf of Scrub, Sales Manager Tina Wallace says, “Having supplied and supported the first Pro Tools HD3 system at TLS a year ago, we were delighted with their decision to go with the ICON control surface, and to chose Scrub once again as supplier. We look forward to our continued role in supporting ITV Studios and their future upgrade ventures.”
