Studio Technologies Introduces New On-Air Capabilities at NAB 2018 with Model 205, Model 206, and Model 208 Announcers Consoles
Studio Technologies, manufacturer of high-quality audio, video, and fiber-optic solutions, expands its Dante compatible offerings at NAB 2018 (Booth C7550) with three new announcer's consoles, the Model 205, Model 206, and Model 208. The Model 205 and Model 206 are specifically designed for table-top use, presenting a very small "footprint" for applications such as court-side basketball commentator locations. Studio Technologies Provides Remote Integration (REMI) Product Suite Posted: 31/01/2018
Studio Technologies Provides Remote Integration (REMI) Product Suite
Studio Technologies, manufacturer of high-quality audio, video, and fiber-optic solutions, has released enhanced firmware for its Model 5422 Dante Intercom Audio Engine, Model 216 Announcer's Console, and Model 44D Audio Interface products. The new firmware (embedded software) allows each unit to better meet the unique needs of creating IFB (interrupted foldback or talent cueing) for remote production applications. Whether referred to as REMI or At-Home, traditional matrix intercom or dedicated hardware simply isn't up to the task of providing IFB capability where the locations of on-air talent and production personnel are geographically diverse. While the fundamental goals remain the same, new technical challenges require new capabilities to support them. Studio Technologies has responded with a carefully implemented set of software-based resources that are not location dependent.

The Ryder Cup, held this year at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, MN, is a biennial men's golf competition between teams from Europe and the United States. The production notably featured more on-course LED video screens than had ever been placed at a PGA Tour event, thanks to GoVision. This year's event also used a variety of equipment from Studio Technologies, a manufacturer of high-quality audio, video and fiber-optic solutions, including its Dante-enabled Model 370 Intercom Beltpacks and Model 380 On-Air Beltpacks.
