In light of this year’s NABShow being cancelled, Nevion, award-winning provider of virtualized media production solutions, has announced it is hosting its own online event. Nevion’s Alternative Broadcasting 2020 show initiative, called “at home with the Architects”, will offer attendees as close an experience as possible to that which Nevion had been planned for the original show but in the comfort of their own homes.
Taking place from 20th to 24th April, the week planned for the NABShow, the event will comprise virtual meetings and webinars to help organizations to realize the full potential of IP in the facilities, remote production, contribution and terrestrial distribution.
The experience will offer attendees the opportunity to meet online with Nevion’s “Architects of Virtualized Media Production” to find out about best practices for the move to IP, hear about real-life case studies, see virtualized live demos and interact with Nevion’s product managers and executives. They will also have the chance to hear more about Nevion’s strategic partnership with Sony.
Nevion will also run a series of webinars, which will extend beyond the event’s run, covering a variety of business and technical subjects, and will be sharing information about the latest enhancements to its flagship products VideoIPath (orchestration and SDN control software) and Virtuoso (software defined media node).
