Matthews Offers Gobo Plate trade; XL Mounting Adapter
Posted: 01/05/2021
Due to the popularity of the Gobo Plate line of versatile mounting plates, Matthews introduces the new Gobo Plate™ XL, a beefy problem-solver offering endless robust rigging options. Like its smartly-designed sister products, this mounting essential is made to support an array of gear, from camera rigs, set pieces, lighting and grip modifiers to building materials like lumber and pipe. Built to receive 4.5” Grip heads, the XL is the big brother of the family—designed to couple heavier duty gear found on the rigging side of production that requires versatile support options and above all, safety. It easily bolts to standard cheese plates, hood mounts and hostess trays, etc. or may be nailed or screwed to lumber, set walls and overhead beams.

KMR Audio Offers Towersonic, The Ultimate Powered Monitor Stands
Posted: 19/11/2009
Professional audio specialists KMR Audio have announced the availability of the acclaimed new TS-1 powered speakers stands from Towersonic. So impressed have they been with the new stands in fact that they have installed them in the new KMR listening room at the company's north London showrooms, where only the very best equipment takes pride of place.
Sales Manager Stefan Pope said We have the worlds best audio equipment here on show, 50k mixing consoles, hardware tape simulators, 5000 mics, but the coolest thing we have is the remote controllable height adjustable speaker stands. And theyre not just a gimmick. Obviously we have a lot of people here trying out speakers. Some people like auditioning monitors standing up, some sitting down, and generally peoples ears arent exactly the same height from the floor, so having height adjustable stands is more than nice; its essential. If a studio has lots of different engineers in, the same thing would apply. You can also hide a set of speakers away behind a console, and when theyre needed, just press a button and the pop up! This is innovative design from a British company. Were proud to be their exclusive suppliers.
