Viz AI powered graphics debut at Daytona 500 on FOX
Posted: 23/02/2022
Vizrt's new Object Tracker, powered by Viz AI, and used for the first time at the 2022 Daytona 500, allows the detection and tracking of objects, in this case, race cars, over any incoming video feed. The simplicity and non-intrusiveness are some of the key strengths of the new object tracker – no complex camera tracking or other data inputs are required; a video signal is all you need to apply the ground-breaking AI technology. Once an object has been selected by the user, Vizrt's powerful 3D graphics can be applied to it. This gives the viewer contextually rich insights without having to look away from the action. |

For Fargo, North Dakota-based ABC affiliate Forum Communications (WDAY-TV), the pandemic meant finding new ways to significantly streamline operations while maintaining regular sports and events coverage. With social distancing measures in place, the media company had to alter its workflow in order to still broadcast WDAY’s high school game of the week segment without a large crew and multiple cameras. The team found the solution they were looking for with the GY-HC500SPCU Sports Production and Coaching camera, part of the CONNECTED CAM™ line from JVC Professional Video, a division of JVCKENWOOD USA Corporation. |
