Come and See LiveU Solo in Action at Europes Leading Tech Festival
LiveU is teaming up with The Next Web (TNW) for the second year running to showcase the latest and greatest in professional live streaming and production at TNW's annual gathering in Amsterdam (May 24 & 25). We'll be operating a live studio, produced by Stream My Event, to capture all the atmosphere using our LiveU Solo units. Hosted by The Innovation Station's Johan Schaap, the studio will feature live interviews with conference speakers and ad-hoc conversations with the visitors on the festival floor, using roaming units. We'll also be demonstrating our enhanced Solo Studio cloud graphics and new mobile app in a demo station nearby.

Irdeto Survey: Millennials Shaping Video Piracy in the Middle East and North Africa

A new online consumer piracy survey from Irdeto, the world leader in digital platform security, found that over half of respondents polled in MENA - 59% in Egypt and 53% in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) - admitted to watching pirated video content. The research also revealed that millennials are among the most likely to illegally consume content, with 62% of 18-24 year-olds in the GCC and 64% in Egypt stating they watch pirated video content. In addition, 20% of 18-24 year-olds in the GCC and 23% in Egypt pirate more than once a week.
