SMPTE News at IBC2017 Posted: 10/08/2017
Registration is open for the SMPTE 2017 Annual Technical Conference & Exhibition (SMPTE 2017), which will take place Oct. 24-26 in Hollywood, California. The event kicks off with the daylong SMPTE 2017 Symposium, "Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning in Digital Media Creation: The Promise, The Reality, and The (Scary?) Future," on Oct. 23. During SMPTE 2017 itself, experts from around the globe will present 69 technical papers, plus a conference keynote. This year the event will culminate with the SMPTE Annual Awards Gala hosted in the Loews Hollywood Hotel's Hollywood Ballroom on the evening of Thursday, Oct. 26.
