Riedel Gear Helps Koreas KBS Produce International Feed for 2015 Gwangju Summer Universiade
As university athletes from around the world took part in the 2015 Gwangju Summer Universiade in South Korea, host broadcaster Korean Broadcasting System (KBS) employed Riedel Communications equipment to produce the international feed for the event, the world's second-largest multi-sport competition. The Riedel solution enabled flexible and reliable transport of HD video, data, and intercom signals throughout the competition, which extended from July 3-14.

Kuwait Broadcast Services Upgrades Radio Studios With Calrec Audio Consoles
State-run Kuwait Broadcast Services (KBS) has installed two Calrec digital audio consoles in its Kuwait City facility as part of an effort to refurbish its radio studios and update its technology. Studio 8, which is dedicated to sports programming, and studio 11, which broadcasts classical music programming, each got a new Calrec Omega console. Italian integrator ARET Video and Audio Engineering and Kuwait Cable Vision were chosen to provide the consoles, workflow customization, training, and support after a government-issued public tender process.

KBS Kuwait upgrades four studios with Solid State Logic C10 HD Compact broadcast consoles

The Kuwait Broadcast Service (KBS), a major radio broadcasting and performance facility operated by the Ministry of Information (MOI) for the government of Kuwait, has recently upgraded four studios with Solid State Logic C10 HD Compact Broadcast Consoles. MOI/KBS encompasses nine radio stations, five drama studios, four editing suites, three live music/rehearsal spaces and one large concert hall. The C10 HD consoles are part of a general move into digital production systems for the facility and are used for radio production, capturing drama presentations and editing.

KBS purchases two Pablo Neo S3D systems Posted: 13/12/2010
KBS purchases two Pablo Neo S3D systems Korean Broadcasting System (KBS), Koreas national public broadcaster, has purchased two Quantel Pablo Neo 2K color correction and finishing systems.

One Pablo will be used by the KBS Computer Graphics Division for color correction, S3D manipulation and mastering of non-fiction programming such as documentaries. The second system is destined for the TV Drama Special Effects team at KBS Mediatech, where it will be handling color correction on the high profile dramas for which KBS is renowned.
