Lee Byung Wook of South Korea Wins IMSTA FESTAs 2018 Songwriting Competition

The International Music Software Trade Association (IMSTA) today announced that 20-year-old Lee Byung Wook of Seoul, South Korea, has won the 2018 Songwriting Competition hosted by IMSTA, which holds music technology celebrations in cities around the world. Lee first won the Seoul regional finals of the 2018 edition of the IMSTA Songwriting Competition at IMSTA FESTA Seoul and then beat out regional finalists from cities including Los Angeles, Berlin, Chicago, Toronto, New York, and Miami to win the 2018 IMSTA Songwriting Competition and an all-expense-paid trip to Santorini, Greece, to be part of a songwriting camp at the prestigious Black Rock Studios.

The International Music Software Trade Association (IMSTA) today announced that Grammy® Award-winning mix engineer Dave Pensado and veteran manager/executive producer Herb Trawick, hosts of the weekly audio engineering-themed talk show "Pensado's Place," will present the keynote at IMSTA FESTA Atlanta. The celebration of music technology will take place July 27 at the SAE Institute Atlanta.

The International Music Software Trade Association (IMSTA) is expanding its acclaimed IMSTA FESTA music technology event in 2018 to include events not only in Canada, the United States, and Europe, but also in Asia. This year's series of events will begin Feb. 24 with IMSTA FESTA Miami and continue on to Los Angeles (May); Seoul, Korea (June); Chicago (July); New York City (September); Toronto (October); and Berlin (October).
