IPV at WFX 2018 - how worship facilities can use media asset management to create better video

For the first time, media asset management specialist IPV will be bringing its Curator platform to visitors of WFX, the largest dedicated church conference and expo in the United States. At the show, IPV will demonstrate to visitors how production teams within churches and houses of worship can use media management workflows to secure their media assets, improve efficiency and create better video content for their followers.

“Many operations are increasingly taking advantage of the growing expectation for video content. Churches and worship facilities across the world are well positioned to create their own media in order to inform and engage their followers,” said Nigel Booth, IPV’s VP sales and marketing. “It’s for this reason that we decided to exhibit at WFX for the first time this year – we want to show how media management workflows can really make a difference to any content-creating operation no matter the size or available resources.”

On stand 1003 IPV will be demonstrating Curator, their media management system, which offers key search-and-find benefits. Instead of storing media on tape, leaving it vulnerable to damage and making old content hard to find, assets can be uploaded to the Curator system. Using the intuitive Curator Clip Link interface, visitors will learn how production teams can then easily search all of their media by keyword and push content to other platforms straight from Clip Link. Creative teams will also see how they can log interesting points within media content during ingest or live streaming to make it easy to find the most relevant clips later.

Using Curator for Adobe, production teams will see how easy it is to search media repositories and edit content whether it’s stored locally or remotely. With IPV’s heritage of streaming proxies, it’s ideally placed to show production teams how they can create more even when they don’t have access to high-resolution content or much bandwidth for file transfer. When operating across several locations, users can still easily edit media to continue creating the best content possible, even when operating remotely.

IPV will be demonstrating the Curator media asset management system on booth number 1003 throughout the WFX Conference & Expo which runs between November 13 and 15 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
