HHB COMMUNICATIONS ANNOUNCES NUGEN AUDIO WILL SHOWCASE POST-PRODUCTION BUNDLES AT IBC2018

Published: 19 September 2018

HHB Communications Ltd (HHB), a global leader in professional audio technology, today announced NUGEN Audio will showcase its postproduction bundles, as well as updates to its Loudness Toolkit bundle, for the first time in Europe on HHB Communications stand 8.D56 at IBC2018.

The Loudness Toolkit, which includes the VisLM loudness meter, ISL limiter and LMCorrect quick fix tool, now natively supports channel counts of up to 7.1.2, suitable for monitoring and limiting Dolby Atmos bed tracks in realtime. Updates include additional alert and flexible gating options for VisLM to fully support upcoming guidance and internal recommendations from major content producers. In addition, LMCorrect has launched an update to handle 7.1 and 7.1.2 de-interleaved files offline and natively handle 7.1 and 7.1.2 tracks in Avid and Adobe timelines.

“Following the introduction of updated ITU guidance for the measurement of multichannel audio beyond 5.1, NUGEN updated its Loudness Toolkit family of products in order to enhance the workflow for engineers in the industry,” said Jon Schorah, founder and creative director, NUGEN Audio. “We will also be showing our postproduction bundles for the first time at IBC. The bundles were designed to deliver our intuitive algorithms in unique combinations tailored to specific projects and workflow needs.”

Also available for demonstration on the stand are NUGEN’s newly updated bundles for postproduction, including the renowned Surround Suite, a new toolset including Halo Upmix, Halo Downmix, ISL surround limiter and SEQS surround match & morph corrective spline EQ. It will also showcase NUGEN Post, an uncompromising collection of 11 plug-ins for broadcast, film and game audio production.

Mark Pascoe, Director of Sales and Marketing at HHB Communications, said: “HHB are excited to welcome NUGEN Audio to our stand at IBC2018. The team will be debuting its newly released Loudness Toolkit bundle for the first time in Europe and we are looking forward to providing demonstrations for IBC visitors.”
