Cooke brings acclaimed lenses to the KitPlus Show 2018

Cooke Optics will present a range of its acclaimed hand-crafted lenses to the KitPlus Shows in Glasgow and Bristol on 31st May and 5th June respectively. From the latest full frame cine lenses to those with a vintage look, Cooke lenses bring the revered ‘Cooke Look’ to all kinds of content from Oscar-winning movies to TV dramas and music promos.
Panchro/i Classic lenses are proving incredibly popular with film makers who want a vintage look of the original 1920s Speed Panchros; these new lenses offer all the required aesthetics with modern glass and housing.
The MiniS4/i range is a great choice for smaller budget productions or second units. With the option to purchase front and rear uncoated elements, the MiniS4/I series has an additional layer of versatility, the compact and affordable miniS4/i set is unparalleled in the market.
The anamorphic trend looks set to continue, not only for cinema but also TV productions that want a more cinematic look. The Anamorphic/i range features the characteristic oval bokeh and other anamorphic aberrations.
Finally, the S7/i Full Frame Plus lens range is designed from the ground up to cover the emergent full frame cinema camera sensors up to the full sensor area (46.31mm image circle) of the RED Weapon 8K. It is also an ideal partner for the acclaimed Sony VENICE full frame digital motion picture camera system and the new ARRI ALEXA LF large format camera system.
Visitors will see lenses from each of these Cooke ranges at the Kit Plus Show on 31st May in Glasgow and 5th June is Bristol.
Cooke lenses have recently been used on award-winning feature films including Darkest Hour and Call Me By Your Name, and acclaimed television shows such as Altered Carbon, The Expanse and The Crown.
