Diablo Digitals 128-Track Recording Solution for Fleetwood Mac Tour Features Sonnet Echo Express III-R and RackMac mini

Sonnet Technologies today announced that its Echo(TM) Express III-R Thunderbolt(TM) 2-to-PCI Express(R) (PCIe(R)) card expansion chassis and RackMac(TM) mini 1U enclosure for Apple(R) Mac(R) mini are driving a state-of-the-art Avid(R) Pro Tools(R) recording workflow for Fleetwood Mac's current "On With the Show" tour. Sonnet partner Diablo Digital created the custom sound mixing and recording solution for Clair Global, the world-renowned sound reinforcement provider serving as Fleetwood Mac's touring sound contractor. The second leg of the "On With the Show" tour began Jan. 16 in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and will end June 30 in Leeds, U.K.

COLIN BROAD TO LAUNCH TMC-1-PENTA AT NAB 2015 - THE COMPLETE DIGITAL AUDIO I O AND MONITORING SOLUTION

CB Electronics (www.colinbroad.com) in cooperation with NTP Technology (www.ntp.dk) have developed a digital version of the TMC-1 monitor controller TMC-1-Penta, which will be launched at NAB 2015. The TMC-1-Penta communicates with a NTP Penta 720 or DAD AX32 over ethernet using its native protocol either directly or over a network. The software is based on the XMON version of the TMC-1 with a number of enhancements including the ability to control up to 48 channels on its main input/output and an 8 channel wide stem mixer. The flexibility of the NTP Digital interface allows the incorporation of extra features that are not available on Avids XMON.

HHB Communications Ltd. has supplied the equipment for major refurbishments to Imagem Production Musics London studios, upgrading both systems to ProTools HD11 and HDX hardware with the new Apple Mac Pro.

Imagem Production Music offers a library of over 200,000 original tracks for licensing to movies, advertising campaigns, TV programming, corporate videos and more. Working with a team of leading composers, Imagems studios are used for mixing and mastering new material and re-purposing library tracks. Both studios are now equipped with Pro Tools 11 and HDX systems running on the new Apple Mac Pro and Magmas EB3T thunderbolt chassis. As part of the upgrade, HHB also supplied a variety of new hardware and software products, including Neumann microphones, Universal Audio and Neve preamps and plug-ins from Waves, Sonnox and iZotope.
