Atomos Sumo19 19M Price Drop Promotion and Switching Update

Atomos is offering customers the chance to save big on the Sumo19 and Sumo 19M HDR production monitors. For a limited time only, Atomos will reduce the price of the Sumo 19 by $500 / €500 and the Sumo19M by $400 / €400. This offer is available until 13 April 2018.

The Sumo 19 is designed for the rigours of daily production and represents the very latest in monitor / recorder technology. It has rugged construction, a large 1200nit high brightness screen and the unique AtomHDR engine that ensures accurate exposure and visualisation for HDR and SDR delivery.

The Sumo19M is a monitor-only version of the Sumo with the same great HDR monitoring functions. It’s image quality competes with rival production monitors costing many times more.

Potential buyers can be reassured that we won’t be launching replacements for the Sumo19 and 19M at the NAB show. The idea behind this promotion is simply…we want to get more of these superb devices into the hands of as many creative professionals as possible.

Backed by our three-year warranty, both of these stunning monitors give users the chance to truly unlock their creativity on set and in the studio.

Switching Update

Atomos is working hard to ensure that our switcher and ISO record functionality for the Sumo19 absolutely right. The development of this function has taken longer than initially anticipated.

We would like to thank customers for their patience as we know many have been keen to utilise switching. That is why we are very happy to announce that the synchronous switching between four genlocked HD sources will be ready in April 2018, with the asynchronous recording being released thereafter. As usual, these updates will be free to all customers.

Atomos would like to thank its loyal customers and we promise that 2018 is going to be bigger than ever. We hope to see you all at the NAB Show in April.
