ACCESS CO., LTD today announced that its ACCESS Twine™ for Car solution has been certified as a ‘Privileged media platform’ by the Hamburg / Schleswig-Holstein Media Authority (Medienanstalt Hamburg/Schleswig-Holstein, “MA HSH”), the German state media authority responsible for the approval of private broadcasting in both regions and for the supervision of platforms as well as licensed radio and television programs. ACCESS Twine for Car is the first automotive service to obtain this certification.
The certification cements the position of ACCESS Twine for Car as an innovative infotainment service provider leading the industry by providing a full scale media platform for in-car services. The product complies with the needs of content owners and ensures that services launched by car manufacturers respect all the requirements of video streaming for automotive use cases. As the first automotive platform to receive this certification, ACCESS Twine for Car opens the door to rich media experiences inside moving vehicles, enabling automotive manufacturers to develop In-Vehicle Infotainment solutions that support the next generation of cars, including Electric Vehicles and driverless cars.
