KitPlus TV: VITEC Diamond-IP for openGear Brings 2110 Encoding to New Heights | NAB 2026

At NAB Show 2026 we speak with Bill Cassidy from VITEC about the new Diamond-IP for openGear.

The Diamond-IP is VITEC's latest 2110 encoder for openGear, supporting both uncompressed video and JPEG XS compressed video inputs, with HEVC or H.264 streaming outputs. We explore its seamless integration with VITEC's ChannelLink, point-to-point distribution, and enterprise streaming solutions, along with support for low-latency protocols like SRT and ZIXI.
