We speak with Paul Robson from Medialease once again to get his view on the economy and the economic recovery in general in 2021 and 2022 and what specifically it might mean for the production/ film & TV industry.
We all know the horrific levels of debt that this, and many other countries will be carrying as a result of the necessary reaction to the COVID pandemic – the numbers are £400Bn of debt for UK, so how does the country tackle this?
Businesses are most likely to settle this debt repayment in the form of higher Corporation Tax in two years and the individual is not, as yet, paying anything towards the debt – but will we?
How does it affect leasing companies like Medialease and more importantly, is there any good news in all this for our viewers? Should we invest now?
