On-air graphics TV experience company Sixty has announced that it is partnering with Ross Video to make on-air graphics and virtual studio packages available via Ross Video’s online store. Graphics and virtual studio packages are available for news, finance, weather and sport. “Ross needed to enhance its XPression demo content, and was looking for a clean, modern and edgy European design for both live on-air graphics and a virtual studio set-up,” said Henriette Sæther, chief commercial officer at Sixty. “This is a completely new way of bringing broadcast designs to market, making it possible for broadcasters to acquire broadcast graphics through an off- the-shelf online store.” Slo-mo I-MOVIX has launched INFINITE, an ultra-slow motion camera system that combines scalability with trigger-less operation. Based on Vision Research’s Phantom Flex4K camera and the I-MOVIX X10 platform, the new system can be operated in a range of modes: standalone mode without a server; or in conjunction with a server, where it only requires a single channel. The trigger-less workflow allows users to review and save content for a live show, for post-game analysis and for marketing. The system captures more than one hour of continuous action in high speed and in high resolution, allowing an entire sports event to be recorded non-stop. Ross Video will showcase the offering at NAB (booth N3705). Microphones DPA Microphones will showcase two of its broadcast microphones, the d:fine In-Ear Broadcast Headset Microphone and d:facto Interview Microphone, at NAB (booth 3336). When paired together, the microphones can be used simultaneously by a show host for guest interviews and audience commentary, while staying in connection with the backstage crew or off-site producers. The d:fine In-Ear Broadcast Headset Microphone consists of two cables - microphone and in-ear - that run parallel. Two different sized ear pads are included and DPA has taken care to safeguard against audio leakage between the in-ear dividers and the microphone capsule. Capsules can be either omnidirectional or directional. 15 Mins Designed by Cameramen for Cameramen The established World eader since 1998 for ightweight, ighly ortable and odular arbon ibre rane systems Be part of the brand that continues to esign and nnovate from its vast global experiences from both behind and in front of the camera KITPLUS - THE TV-BAY MAGAZINE: ISSUE 112 APRIL 2016 | 7
