VFX Lipsync Post provided more than145 visual effects shots for Peter and Wendy, the TV film based on J.M Barrie’s Peter Pan that was broadcast on ITV over Christmas. Produced by Headline Pictures with Juliette Films in association with Catalyst Global Media, Lip Sync Productions, and Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity, the story of Peter Pan was retold through the imagination of a young girl about to receive hospital treatment for a heart condition. Requiring an extensive use of green-screen, the VFX shots, created in Nuke, included Peter Pan’s shadow, the crocodile, the Jolly Roger and a CGI-winged Tinkerbell. Wire removal and background work was also completed. Audio routers HHB Communications has been appointed as the exclusive distributor of NTP Technology’s products in the UK and Ireland.
