NEWS MOVE & DELIVER Playout and channel branding PlayBox Technology has promoted two staff to its management board. Stanislav (Sunny) Petkov has been appointed chief technical officer to oversee ongoing development of TV automation products while Pierre Kande has been made CloudAir chief architect with special responsibility for developing the company’s software product range. Petkov has most recently headed the PlayBox development team, latterly as chief R&D officer. Kande was previously a system architect. The promotions are the latest in a string of changes at Playbox that have also seen Don Ash move up to president, Pavlin Rahnev promoted to chief executive, Phillip Neighbour become chief operating officer and Ben Gunkel made chief commercial officer. Separately, Playbox has integrated 10 additional channel-in-a-box servers at facilities in Europe for Dubai- based BHS Telecommunications.
