MAM BroadStream Solutions has announced a deeper integration of its RADAR media asset management (MAM) technology with the OASYS Integrated Playout system. RADAR provides contribution, orchestration and distribution capabilities to enable tracking of media and related files across a broadcast workflow. Format agnostic, the MAM allows all files to be collected, organized, re-versioned, archived and moved to external platforms as a shared resource pool. Users can create custom workflows to automate repetitive tasks with intelligent decision-making while escalation options are said to “improve operational efficiency.” RADAR is designed for facilities that need to organize and track large media libraries and associated files. RADAR is part of a suite of broadcast systems - that includes CURRENT, HARBOR, ARMADA – that resulted from the acquisition of OASYS in 2014. EditShare has enhanced its Adobe Premiere Pro CC panel integration in Flow 3.2, the latest version of the company’s media asset management platform. The in-app integration lets editors search across all online and archive storage locations for clips in the asset management database; view clip thumbnails; modify metadata; and add assets to a project. Flow is an end-to-end workflow product that operates from baseband SDI and file-based ingest with transcoding to asset logging, browsing and retrieval of content on EditShare media spaces and archives.
