NEWS New British Forces entertainment platform V ualto, global specialists in innovative content delivery and management, has delivered a new online playout solution to the British Forces Broadcasting Service (BFBS), a registered charity set up to entertain and inform Britain’s Armed Forces around the world.  The new BFBS Player began live trials in February 2014, in preparation for service launch to deployed armed forces personnel, and their families, enabling them to view online content across the world. Bill Vinten GTC University Award 2014 dates announced T he Bill Vinten GTC University Awards 2014 are open to all final-year undergraduates completing their courses this summer. Last year’s awards, which were presented at the ITV Studios in London, included both period and psychological dramas; documentaries covering such varied subjects as a model railway society, a deaf actor, and the traditions around picking apples; plus music videos. Each film in the portfolio must include a specific camera credit who must be, or has been, a final year student during 2013/2014. The winning camerawoman or cameraman will receive work experience, paid with expenses, equivalent to £2,500, plus one- year associate membership of the GTC. The two runners-up will receive work experience, paid with expenses, equivalent to £750 each, plus one-year associate membership of the GTC.
