BVE NEWS BVE 2013 B VE 2013 is the UK’s premier event for the multimedia production services, content creation, management and delivery industries.  The event, which attracted nearly 16,000 visitors in 2012, takes place at ExCeL in London from 26-28 February 2013; moving to the new Olympic venue has enabled the event to grow and present more exhibitors, seminar theatres, free content and unrivalled networking opportunities, as well as making it easier for visitors from Europe to attend BVE, with London City Airport only five minutes away.   BVE offers a high-level conference, immensely popular free seminars and hands-on workshops, and an invaluable networking hub, as well as an exhibition featuring all the leading manufacturers as well as smaller companies with innovative solutions to offer from acquisition to delivery. Anita Pal, Event Director, i2i Events, says, “BVE has always been about connecting people, both through our superb free seminar programme that attracts the highest calibre speakers, and also the networking opportunities afforded by the biggest content creation event in the UK. This year - our first at the ExCeL venue - we are able to branch out further than ever before, adding two new theatres to our regular theatre line up. We will also host the popular Skills Zone and Bar Meet-Up events, as well as working with various partners on fringe events leading up to and during BVE 2013.” As always there is an amazing line- up of free content, offering 220 hours of free education, training, practical tips and tricks, technical insights and business advice, delivered by 300 experts from the worlds of TV, film, advertising and digital media. There will be 10 theatres on the show floor, covering topics including production, audio, post production, cloud issues and 3D cinema, as well as the new Cinematography and Live Event theatre. The Skills Zone offers the chance to gain valuable advice from expert practitioners in the industry over informal discussions, and there will be several Bar Meet-Ups and fringe events with industry partners including the BKSTS.
