Seamless transition for Racecourse Media Group KIT digital, Inc. has announced that its European-based Broadcast Systems Integration arm (BSI), previously known as Megahertz Broadcast Systems, has completed the build out of a new tapeless high-definition (HD) broadcast production facility for Timeline TV at Ealing Studios in London. Timeline TV, a leading broadcast facilities provider, will support multiple broadcast customers in its new HD facilities, including Racecourse Media Group (RMG). Expanding Angola’s indie TV station S pecialist systems integrator VSC Design has been awarded the contract for a major expansion and refurbishment of TV Zimbo in Luanda, Angola. TV Zimbo is Angola’s first independent TV channel and first started broadcasting in December 2008. VSC Design was key to the launch of the channel back then and has since provided on-going technical support for TV Zimbo. These new facilities represent a considerable expansion and upgrade for TV Zimbo with the broadcaster moving to HD and tapeless operation and the launch of a second channel.
