TNP has recently supplied six Ikegami HDK-79EXIII Alfa fibre camera channels to ProLink TV for the use on the next series of a well known cookery programme. The Ikegami cameras were tested with the Sony HDC-1500 cameras to compare performance and to establish if the Ikegami could be matched with the Sony camera. As the Ikegami has three matrix settings, EBU, ITU-709 and SMPTE it was possible to get an almost exact colour match which impressed the vision engineers present at the test. TNP also supplied Panasonic TH-65PF30ER and Ikegami ULE-215 & HL-M904WR for the control room and Sony PDW-F1600 XDCAM HD recorder.
