For Sale: Focal Utopia by JM Labs Speakers

Up for sale are a pair of original JM Labs/Focal Utopia speakers from 1998, in essentially as-new condition. These are the legendary OG Utopia model, renowned for their massive cabinet construction, low-resonance sandwich cone technology (now known as Focal’s "W" cones), and the innovative pure titanium inverted metal dome tweeter, a precursor to the current Beryllium tweeter technology.
The tweeters are mounted on a time-delay-correcting baffle situated between a pair of 6" midranges, arranged in a D'Appolito configuration for optimal phase alignment. The speakers also feature a 12" woofer reflex-loaded in a large cabinet, delivering impressive bass extension and dynamic range that stands the test of time.

With a sensitivity of 92.5 dB and a load impedance of 4 Ohms, these speakers require a stable, high-current amplifier. While not needing extremely high power, the right amp will unlock their full potential.
