We just received an offer from manufacturer:  1 NEW piece only, 1 year full Japan warranty, in opened box, lens located in Osaka / Japan and available immediately after Japan's Golden Week vacation, earliest may 8th, 2026

I x new 4K UHD  CJ18ex28BIASE S, brandnew, never touched  in opened box with 1 year Canon Japan Factory warranty.

Canon Japan warranty means:  Should there be any items with this lens at fault by Canon   maintenance / repair or exchange in Japan during the 1st year is free and under warranty.  If maintenance needed outside Japan obviously paid maintenance locally is ok or free by shipping back to Canon Japan; the freight costs though have to be taken care of by the buyer.

Due to the lens' location in Osaka   we have just put up a generic picture from Canon Japan.

Lens will be shipped as usual with heavily discounted fully insured Fedex from interscreen Japan, Tokyo.

Asking price lowered june 11th from is 19800 Euros to 16800 Euros + fedex freight.

Asking price to the US only :  16800 Euros + 15.8% ( tariffs and customs handling ) + fedex freight

Notice: since  february 2026 invoices from Japan or EU will be sent in either Yen or Euros    while just our US companies will continue to serve in local USD currency.

In addition: We have recently experienced several cases of gear sold to the USA where we received the asked for funds but US buyers then refused or were unable to pay the US required and initiated 15% tariffs.  In these cases  Fedex charged us in Japan - despite being the obligation of the buyers -  the funds for the USA 15% tariffs + 0.8 % more for US customs handling fees. As a result we now charge asking price + 15.8% ( US tariffs and handling ) + Fedex freight beforehand to all US clients and in turn then we pay ourselves Fedex for the freight, US tariffs and customs handling fees. As there are no exceptions to this rule   any US buyer not agreeing cannot be served anymore.
