The Digital Motion Picture Centre in Europe is located at one of the worlds leading destinations for makers of film, television and commercials: Pinewood Studios in the UK. At DMPC(E) you can develop your craft, experience cutting edge technology and meet with Industry colleagues.
The first DMPC was opened in Culver City, California and attracts Cinematographers, DITs, film crews and post-production professionals from around the world. So were now creating another one, this time at an iconic location in Europe: Pinewood Studios.
Staffed by a dedicated team of specialists, you can talk to Sony face-to-face and meet the people behind the technology. But we dont just want to tell you about our products, we want you to have the opportunity to experience them. At DMPC(E), youll be able to see how they work, how they integrate into a complete workflow and how they push the art of film-making to new limits. Alongside the Sony team, youll also have access to our network of alliance partners. That means you can see full workflows in action, from operation on set to colour grading in post. The Digital Motion Picture Centre in Europe is a place to learn, discover and share experiences. Whether you want to have a discussion with our specialists, test equipment or attend a scheduled training course, you can tailor your own experience.
We have currently set-up the first series of free, twice weekly workshops "From script to screen with CineAlta\" at Pinewood Studios.

CineAlta is revolutionising the way that feature films, TV dramas, documentaries, music promos and commercials are being created. This workshop will equip you with an understanding of the processes required to produce your next idea for the big screen with CineAlta

What you can learn in this workshop:
- Set up and operation of the F65, F55 and F5 CineAlta cameras.
- An opportunity to shoot "pre-scripted\" shots on the set that challenges the cameras\' capabilities.
- Understanding the 4K RAW on set and post production process.
- Grading pictures in post-production.
- Viewing the result.

From creating your own event, dropping in and simply getting answers to your questions to attending our scheduled workshops, we have lots of opportunities for you at Sonys DMPCE.
Register to our workshops or find out more on www.pro.sony.eu/dmpce and @SonyCineAltaEU
