Looking for clean HDCAM SR VTR, Digi Beta 970P camcorder and HDCAM F900R camcorder, for purchase

Sony HDCAM SR recorder, DVW 970P and HDW F900R

I would like a good condition HDCAM SR recorder (portable or tabletop), one that we can use for HDCAM transfers, non-linear dumping and inter-format conversions. It should have all the options available. I'm also looking for a good DVW 970P Digi Beta camcorder, a HDW F900R HDCAM camcorder and as many PDW 700P XDCAM HD camcorders that we can get hold of. While at it, I could use a HDW 2000 and a J-H3 as well! HD lenses from Canon and Fujinon are also always welcome. We want good Chrosziel HD matte boxes as well...

Ideally, the equipment should be superbly priced for us to buy. We would prefer a trade-in or half-cash half-trade deal wherein we can tender a dozen odd Digi Beta PAL camcorders, lots of other broadcast gear, lenses, tripods, VTR's, and other functional gear, at greatly reduced prices. We have literally 1000's of broadcast items for sale.

Contact us and let's talk! We are always on the look-out for just about any good quality broadcast gear...

Social streaming and broadcast
Craig Moehl We are witnessing a growing trend from broadcasters looking to complement TV content with social streaming. When done well, it can really help increase consumer engagement on a huge scale and we have seen some great examples of it over recent months. At the recent Kit Plus Show, I talked about the marriage between broadcast and social streaming, what works, and what some of our customers have been doing in this arena.

Mr MXF thinks the future is bright
Bruce Devlin I have had the good fortune to spend some time with students at Southampton Solent, The University of Surrey, Ravensbourne and Godalming College in the last few weeks. Although student numbers are down on the technology courses, enthusiasm is high and the passion for the broadcast and media industry is evident in the eyes of the stars of tomorrow.

You need more damn pixels
Jan Weigner There has obviously been a lot of chatter in recent years about 4K, but is it enough? 8K and beyond is where the excitement lies, but not in the way you might think. 8K and beyond for broadcast, both of which are easily achievable in a software-only, IP environment, may seem a bridge too far for most at the moment, and they're probably right¦for now.

Where university meets universe with Tim Peake
Georgia Thirtle If you had told me last year that, going into my second year at the University of Portsmouth, I would have met and interviewed Tim Peake, then I would have probably laughed and said something along the lines of "I wish". Well, turns out I didn't have to wish, because I did just that.

Health and Safety gone mad
Dick Hobbs. The first true broadcast television service started 80 years ago, on 2 November, 1936. Its home, famously, was Alexandra Palace, a vast and really rather run-down building on top of Muswell Hill in north London. Originally opened in 1873, and re-opened in 1875 after a catastrophic fire, it was built primarily as an entertainment venue. Indeed, it was built as "a palace of the people", a usage of that expression a century or more before most of us associate it.

80 years of broadcast and how far we have come
Neil Maycock The BBC delivered its first continual public broadcast 80 years ago, that included coverage of the BBC Television Orchestra and famous musical comedy star Adle Dixon. This was a world first heralding the beginning of continuous broadcasting in the UK and kicking off the broadcast industry's constant search for new ways to improve the accessibility and quality of television content.
