The Anycast Station is an integrated, portable and easy to use solution that can be used by customers that require professional results and mobility. The Anycast Station's all-in-one design helps keep set-up time to a minimum, and allows it to be easily moved from location to location. Measuring just 424 x 114 x 354 mm (W x H x D) and weighing around 8kg, the Anycast Station is compact enough to be carried by hand, yet has a number of professional features you would expect for live event content production - including RGB and video inputs and outputs. 

The Anycast Station now has two optional interface modules that extend the system's wide capabilities: the BKAW-560 HD Analogue Component I/O Module and the BKAW-590 HD-SDI I/O Module. End users can now migrate from analogue to digital or SDI to HD simply by swapping the modular BKAW interface cards.

DHD to Demonstrate Latest Advances in Broadcast Audio Production and IP Connectivity at Hamburg Open


Following a successful mid-May MPTS 2022 show in London, DHD will exhibit the latest additions to its range of digital audio studio equipment and systems at the Hamburg Open 2022. The show will be held Wednesday June 1st (10:00 - 18.00) through Thursday 2nd (10.00 - 16:00) in Hall B6 of the Hamburg Messe. Exhibiting on stand 103, DHD will demonstrate its new DX2 desktop audio mixing console, XC3 and XD3 processing cores and Version 10 latest-generation firmware.

"Hamburg Open has grown over the years into one of the most popular events in the European broadcast and professional-audio show calendar," says Christoph Gottert, DHD's Head of International Sales. "We will be offering visitors the opportunity to experience the creative and ergonomic features of DHD mixing systems which are designed for fast and easy live operation."

The 2021 Copa América tournament was the 47th edition of the international men's football championship organized by South America's football ruling body, CONMEBOL. In 2017 we saw the introduction of SMPTE 2110 and since then, the transition to IP has emerged as a priority for broadcasters looking to streamline their operations, decrease their footprint and effectively integrate with an industry in a rapid state of flux. A 2020 survey by Devoncroft found that almost 20% of broadcasters had already deployed SMPTE 2110, and over 25% were planning to do so. Then came the pandemic, precipitating the need for on-the-fly collaboration and accelerating the transition to remote, virtual and cloud production.
